The Cadaval Brothers

I´m a lucky guy.  I get to work with two of the best comedians on the planet. And I don´t mean just in Spain, I seriously mean on the planet.   Granted I´m not an objective viewer, but seeing the way the public reacts to Los Morancos during a show as they laugh hysterically throughout and the thunderous applause they give as the show finishes with almost every audience member on their feet strengthens my belief.   It´s also great to see how peoples faces light up when they see them on the street and ask them for photo.  This year I´ve gotten to travel and act in cities like Bilbao, Mallorca, Madrid, Barcelona, Cordoba, La Coruña, Murcia, Alicante, Valencia, Huelva and Cadiz just to name a few.  Their humor seems to have no boundaries and if it wasn´t for the language barrier, I am sure it wouldn´t.  Cesar and Jorge say they are fans of the Marx Brothers, and that doesn´t surprise me. I think only brothers could do what they do as well as they do it and still be together and continually innovating 25 years later.  I also see a bit of Carol Burnett in their humor. I loved the Carol Burnett variety show and they way Cesar and Jorge are constantly interpreting different roles both on stage and on television reminds me of the old school variety shows that existed before stand-up comedy took over.

Thank you Cesar and Jorge for allowing me to participate in your show, and for constantly inspiring me to learn, to take risks, and to have fun.  I had a great time with you guys in 2013 and I hope that 2014 continues to be a great year for the entire company!!  Salud!!
